In ancient Egypt, the scarab, which pushes a dung ball between the front legs, stands for the sun's journey across the sky and the cycle of life. Here we see a winged frog-scarab with a pentagram (5) between the front legs.

I once made this frog-scarab from the wrap of a "frog" (candy) that you get in your shoe with Sinterklaas.
